SYMPTOMS

Consider the following Scenario:
  • You try to log on to a Microsoft Lync 2010 client.

    Note You never saved your user name and password on this Lync 2010 client before.
  • You type your password in the Password field, and then you press the TAB key to select the Save my password check box.
In this scenario, you expect the Save my password check box to be selected. However, you have to press the TAB key two times to select this checkbox.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, install the following cumulative update:  
2467763 Description of the cumulative update package for Lync 2010: January 2011

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
