SYMPTOMS

Assume that you try to move a mailbox that contains a corrupted Search Folder in a Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 environment. For example, the Search Folder's criterion refers to another folder that has been deleted. Then, the Search Folder becomes corrupted. In this situation, the move process fails. Additionally, the following event is logged in the Application log:

The Microsoft Exchange Mailbox Replication service was unable to apply search criteria to a search folder. The error was ignored.

Folder name: <folder name>
Error: MapiExceptionInvalidEntryId: Unable to SetSearchCriteria. (hr=0x80040107, ec=-2147221241)
