INTRODUCTION

Issue that this hotfix package fixes


Consider the following scenario:

  • You insert a text box that accepts multiple lines of text into a form in Microsoft InfoPath.

  • You set the text box height value to auto, and then you specify a fixed value for the text box width.

  • You publish the form on a SharePoint Server 2010 server.

  • You view the form through a browser, and then you type more than 22 characters in the text box.

In this scenario, the text box height increases by a one line space.



Resolution

Hotfix information

A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing the problem described in this article. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next software update that contains this hotfix.
