On This PageSYMPTOMSIn a Microsoft Host Integration Server 2009 environment, you use Advanced Program-to-Program Communications (APPC) print sessions against the AS/400. When you configure the print session retry setting as infinite, you notice that the print sessions do not go active after an AS/400 initial program load (IPL) is configured. Therefore, you have to restart the print session manually. RESOLUTIONHotfix informationA supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing the problem described in this article.
