Microsoft has released an update for Microsoft Outlook 2010. This update provides the latest fixes for the 32-bit and 64-bit editions of Outlook 2010. Additionally, this update contains stability and performance improvements.
Issues that this update fixes
When you run Outlook 2010 in online mode, a recurring meeting is either not displayed in your Calendar or displayed at the wrong time. Additionally, a reminder for the meeting is not displayed as expected. This problem occurs when the following conditions are true:
The recurring meeting was created in an earlier version of Outlook.
The earlier version of Outlook used the Jerusalem time zone and had DST disabled.
Assume that the online archive feature is enabled for your Outlook account, and an online archive credential dialog box appears when you try to log on to Outlook. In this situation, the SMTP address is displayed incorrectly. For example, the address is displayed as GUID@DOMAIN.COM.

How to uninstall this update
Click Start, and then click Run.
Type Appwiz.cpl, and then click OK.
Use one of the following procedures, depending on the operating system that you are running.
Windows 7 and Windows Vista
Click View installed updates.
In the list of updates, locate and click update 2553248, and then click Uninstall.
Windows XP
Click to select the Show updates check box.
In the list of updates, locate and click update 2553248, and then click Remove.
