Symptoms

When you try to print an XML Paper Specification (XPS) document on a computer that is running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2, you may notice that some lines in the document are missing.

Note This issue depends on the thickness of the lines and the Graphics Device Interface (GDI) mapping mode that is used.

Cause

This issue occurs because of an error in the Xpsgdiconverter.dll module. During the process of XPS to GDI conversion, a NULL pen is used instead of the one that is expected.
