FIX: PeopleSoft connection might time out in BizTalk Server 2010 if you use BizTalk Adapter for PeopleSoft Enterprise

SYMPTOMS

When you use Microsoft BizTalk Adapter for PeopleSoft Enterprise on a Microsoft BizTalk Server 2010-based computer to connect to a PeopleSoft system, the adapter might time out the connection.

Additionally, an event that resembles the following is logged in the Application log if the connection times out:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: Microsoft Biztalk Adapters for Enterprise Applications
Event Category: None
Event ID: 0
Description:

Error transmitting message: <SOAP-ENV:Fault xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"><faultcode>SOAP-ENV:Client</faultcode><faultstring>Request ID: Unknown
Exception Type: The method does not exist
Exception Info:
Exception occurred:
Invalid target: CreateEx@PeopleSoft://CI/Location</faultstring></SOAP-ENV:Fault>

RESOLUTION

Cumulative update information

The hotfix that resolves this issue is included in cumulative update package  for BizTalk Server 2010.

Note: Initially Cumulative update package 2 was released to resolve part of this issue. We recommend you to apply Cumulative update package 3 to obtain the complete fix.
