Consider the following scenario:
Service 'net.tcp://servername.domain.com/Microsoft.Exchange.MailboxReplicationService' encountered an exception. Error: Cannot find a recipient that has mailbox GUID Mailbox GUID.
+ CategoryInfo : NotSpecified: (0:Int32) [New-MoveRequest], MailboxReplicationPermanentException
+ FullyQualifiedErrorId : ID,Microsoft.Exchange.Management.RecipientTasks.NewMoveRequest
This issue occurs because the Active Directory driver looks for the mailbox in an incorrect forest when the Mailbox Replication service creates Active Directory queries during the cross-forest mailbox move. The Active Directory driver validation fails that causes the move operation failure.
To resolve this issue, install the following update rollup:
(http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2645995/ )Description of Update Rollup 1 for Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 2
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
