This cumulative update package for Microsoft BizTalk Server 2009 contains hotfixes for issues that were fixed after the release of BizTalk Server 2009.
We recommend that you test the hotfixes before you deploy them in a production environment. Because the builds are cumulative, each new update release contains all the hotfixes and all the security updates that were included in the previous BizTalk Server 2009 update release. We recommend that you consider applying the most recent update release.
Important notes about this cumulative update package

Support for HIPAA 5010 Errata has been added, which includes:
999 and 277CA schema XSD files
X12 Fallback Settings in BizTalk Administration lists the 999 Acknowledgement
BizTalkMsgBoxDb engine logic
Notes
The update does not add out-of-the-box engine support that specifically allows 999s to be used as receipts in place of 997s that is required by Medicare and Medicaid. Therefore, a custom solution must be created to enable 999s to be used as receipts.
