FIX: Acknowledgement messages are not sent by a SQL Server 2008 R2 Service Broker target

Microsoft distributes Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 (SP1) fixes in one downloadable file. Because the fixes are cumulative, each new release contains all the hotfixes and all the security updates that were included with the previous SQL Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 (SP1) update release.

After a Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Service Broker target receives a message from a SQL Server 2008 R2 Service Broker initiator, the target does not send an acknowledgement message.

This issue occurs because a background service broker thread is stuck in a WHILE loop. This behavior prevents the acknowledgement message from being sent to the initiator.
