Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You create some customized labels on a System Center Configuration Manager 2007 Service Pack 2 (SP2) site server.

  • You assign these customized labels to inventory software.

  • You use an Asset Intelligence synchronization point to synchronize data from the System Center Online catalog.

In this scenario, System Center Configuration Manager stops processing some of the data that is synchronized from the System Center Online catalog. Additionally, an error that resembles the following is logged in the Aikbmgr.log file:

*** [23000][2627][Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint 'LU_SoftwareList_Local_PK'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'dbo.LU_SoftwareList_Local'

Resolution

Prerequisites
