Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:
  • You have a redirect folder in a network share folder.
  • You enable the Always Available Offline option on the folder on a Windows 7-based or Windows Server 2008 R2-based client computer.
  • You create a subfolder in the redirect folder, and the subfolder contains files.
  • You move a folder from an unpinned location to the subfolder.
In this scenario, the folder that you moved is not available offline.

Cause

This issue occurs because the inheritance functionality is not applied correctly when you move the folder.
