INTRODUCTION

Microsoft has released an update for Microsoft Office 2010. This update provides the latest fixes for Office 2010. Additionally, this update contains stability and performance improvements.

Issue that this update fixes

This update releases an update to the Mscomctl.ocx file in order to fix a registry issue in Office 2010.

How to uninstall this update

  1. Click Start, and then click Run.
  2. Type Appwiz.cpl, and then click OK.
  3. Use one of the following procedures, depending on the operating system that you are running.
    • Windows 7 and Windows Vista
      1. Click View installed updates.
      2. In the list of updates, locate and click update 2687503, and then click Uninstall.
    • Windows XP
      1. Click to select the Show updates check box.
      2. In the list of updates, locate and click update 2687503, and then click Remove.
