Forefront UAG 2010 SP3 includes the following features:
    Added client devices
    • Windows 8

      Forefront UAG 2010 SP3 supports Windows 8 client computers by using Internet Explorer 10 and Internet Explorer 10 in the desktop. Additionally, Forefront UAG 2010 SP3 supports the following:
      • Mail: End-users can use the built-in Mail application on Windows 8 computers to connect to published Microsoft Exchange servers.
      • Remote Desktop: Forefront UAG SP3 supports the Remote Desktop Connection (RDC) 8.0 client that is running on Windows 8.
    • Windows Phone 8


  • Added client applications

    Forefront UAG 2010 SP3 adds support for the following client applications:
    • Office 2013: Forefront UAG 2010 SP3 supports the following Office 2013 client applications:
      • Microsoft Outlook 2013
      • Microsoft PowerPoint 2013
      • Microsoft Word 2013
      • Microsoft Excel 2013
    • Remote Desktop Client (RDC) 8.0: Forefront UAG 2010 SP3 supports the RDC 8.0 client that is running on Windows 7 Service Pack 1

    Forefront UAG 2010 SP3 adds support for publishing the following applications:

  • Forefront UAG 2010 SP3 is provided as a service pack update that can be installed on existing Forefront UAG 2010 servers. For more information, go to the following Microsoft TechNet website:

  • If you run Forefront UAG 2010 in an array configuration, you must apply this update to each array member.
