Summary

Cumulative update packages for Microsoft SharePoint Foundation 2013 contain hotfixes for the SharePoint Foundation 2013 issues that were fixed since the release of SharePoint Foundation 2013.

Note This is build 15.0.4505.1002 of the cumulative update package.

We recommend that you test hotfixes before you deploy them in a production environment. Because the builds are cumulative, each new release contains all the hotfixes and security updates that were included with the previous SharePoint Foundation 2013 update package releases.

Resolution

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

This cumulative update package resolves the following issues:

  • When you upload some file attachments to a list item on a SharePoint Server 2013 site, the attachments are listed randomly instead of in the alphabetical order.

  • When you try to upgrade some site collections from SharePoint Server 2010 to SharePoint Server 2013, you encounter a save conflict error.

  • Assume that you install multiple Search Service Applications (SSA) in SharePoint Server 2013. When you use an SSA to crawl a site, the managed properties are not shown in the SSA that you used to crawl the site with. Instead, the managed properties are shown in another SSA incorrectly.

This cumulative update package also resolves the issues that are described in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base (KB) article:

  • 2727025 Description of the SharePoint Server 2013 hotfix package (Sts-x-none.msp): April 9, 2013
