Introduction

This article introduces an update for SQL Server 2012. This update includes the following improvements for SQL Server 2012:
  • This update prevents optimization code-paths from being added to SUMMARIZE functions unnecessarily.
  • This update prevents In-memory Business Intelligence (IMBI) caches for some operations from being cleared.
  • This update improves performance of the DIVDE function.
