Symptoms
After installing Update Rollup 12 to the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Server and Reporting Extensions in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011, a message is displayed in Deployment Manager indicating Reporting is not enabled. There are no other symptoms to the problem other than CRM incorrectly stating that Reporting is not enabled.
Cause
This is a recently discovered issue with Update Rollup 12.
Resolution
This issue will be addressed with a future CRM update.
More Information
This issue seems to only occur in deployments where SQL is installed to a named instance. Deployments where CRM is using the default instance of SQL have not reported this issue.
