Microsoft distributes Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Service Pack 1 fixes as one downloadable file. Because the fixes are cumulative, each new release contains all the hotfixes and all the security fixes that were included with the previous SQL Server 2012 Service Pack 1 fix release.

Symptoms

An EXCEPTION_INVALID_CRT_PARAMETERexception may occur and dump files are generated on System Health Monitor Thread (system_health session) during the system_health event tracing in Microsoft SQL Server 2012. Additionally, you receive the following error message in the SQL Server error log:

Note This issue occurs only on the 32-bit version of SQL Server.

Cumulative Update 4 for SQL Server 2012 SP1
