Introduction
This update fixes the following issue in Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1:
Assume that you install update 2670838 on a computer that is running Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) or Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. You have a combination of Intel and AMD video cards in a hybrid configuration on the computer. In this situation, the computer intermittently crashes. Additionally, you receive the following Stop error message:STOP: 0x00000050 (parameter1, parameter2, parameter3, parameter4)

This Stop error includes the text PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA, and one of the following file names: igdpmd64.sys or igdpmd32.sys.

The parameters in this Stop error message vary, depending on the configuration of the computer.

Not all "Stop 0x00000050" errors are caused by this issue.
