Resolution

Issues that this cumulative update package fixes

  • Time zone definitions in SharePoint Server 2013 are not updated to accommodate changes in several countries.

  • When you access some SharePoint Server 2013 resource that you do not have the permission for, you receive the OOB access denied page instead of the customer access denied page.

  • When the display name of a user contains a comma, the people picker field in the synchronous event receiver displays an incorrect value.

  • When you try to install an app that requires tenant administrator permission on a SharePoint Server 2012 server, the Trust It button on the app is disabled and you receive the following error message:

Sorry, only tenant administrators can add or give access to this app.

  • Assume that only you have the permission of a folder in a document library. When you drop or drag a file to a sub folder, you receive the following error message:

The documents cannot be uploaded because different permissions are needed. Request the necessary permissions.

  • You cannot use the Ratings API in Full Trust Solutions or Apps.

  • Assume that you upgrade a SharePoint Server 2010 site to SharePoint Server 2013. When you open a page that contains multiple value lookup fields, you receive the following error message:

Sorry, something went wrong Attempted to use an object that has ceased to exist. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80030102 (STG_E_REVERTED))

  • If there are two users who have the same sAMAccountName value in different domains, the profile picture may be overwritten.

  • When you request access to a SharePoint 2013 site multiple times, the site administrator only receives one request email message.

  • When you sort the items on a SharePoint Server 2013 list view that has the Asynchronous Updates and Server Rendering options enabled, the ribbon buttons for the list are disabled.

  • Assume that you set the Toolbar Type value to No Toolbar in Web Part settings. When you create a publishing page, a blank page may appear.

  • You cannot create a form based crawl rule if the length of the security string is more than 5200.

  • When you share a list item from a custom list, the link in the created email message is incorrect.

  • When you have many query rules, all queries become slow.

  • On a list form that contains rich text fields, dropdown menus may sometimes close automatically in Internet Explorer.

  • When you execute a full crawl for a binary large objects (BDC) content source that contains email messages that have attachments, you receive the following error message:

CRobotThread::Thread failed to move BDC blob file.

  • When you reply to a discussion board item that is created by an anonymous user, you encounter an error if you are an anonymous user.

  • When you create a list form by using SharePoint Designer 2013, the list field schema is ignored. Therefore, some fields in the created form are hidden.

  • After you check out, edit (that triggers a SharePoint 2010-style workflow), and check in a document in a SharePoint Server 2013 document library, the workflow's status column displays the status incorrectly.

  • When you try to see a blog in the inline view, the month’s name does not use the abbreviated format.

  • You experience issues when you use Data Protection Manager (DPM) on SharePoint Server 2013 sites that contains apps.
