Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You use Internet Explorer 10 to go to a webpage that contains an image and a hyperlink.

  • You click the link on the webpage, restart Internet Explorer, and then reopen the webpage.

  • You make sure that the link is highlighted to indicate that it was clicked and then try to print the webpage or to preview the printed webpage.

  • The image and the link that you clicked start a new page in the print preview output.

In this scenario, the image may not be displayed in print preview or printed.

For example, the webpage contains the following code:<!doctype HTML>
<html>
<body>
<table>
<tbody>
<tr>
<td>
<img src="test-1.JPG">
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>
<img src="test-2.JPG">
</td>
</tr>
<tr
<td><a href="http://www.bing.com/">here</a>
<img src="test-3.png">
</td>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table>
</body>
</html> In this scenario, the third picture is not displayed in print preview.
