Symptoms

Assume that you run a Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) package in Business Intelligence Development Studio (BIDS) for Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 on a computer that has a 64-bit operating system installed. The SSIS package contains a Data Flow Task that contains a Fuzzy Lookup transformation. In this situation, the package does not stop running. Additionally, a mini dump file is generated.

Note:
  • The issue occurs when SSIS is not installed on the computer on which you run the SSIS package.
  • The issue does not occur on computers that have a 32-bit operating system installed.

Resolution

The issue was first fixed in the following cumulative update of SQL Server.
