The fix also applies to Microsoft SQL Server 2014 Analysis Services (SSAS 2014).
Symptoms
When you run a Multidimensional Expressions (MDX) query that contains a DRILLTHROUGH statement in Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Analysis Services (SSAS 2008), SQL Server 2008 R2 Analysis Services (SSAS 2008 R2), SQL Server 2012 Analysis Services (SSAS 2012), or SQL Server 2014 Analysis Services (SSAS 2014), the result may be incorrect. Specifically, the returned amount is multiplied incorrectly by the number of rows that is returned by the DRILLTHROUGH statement.
Resolution
The issue was first fixed in the following cumulative update of SQL Server.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
Workaround
To work around this issue, follow these steps:

Open the OLAP\Config\msmdsrv.ini file.

Locate the DisableDCSliceIndex parameter.

Change the value of the parameter from 0x0 to 0x4.

The parameter is applied dynamically. So SSAS 2008, SSAS 2008 R2, SSAS 2012, or SSAS 2014 does not have to be restarted.
