Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You install the Client for NFS component on a computer that is running Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1) or Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1, and then the computer acts as a Network File System (NFS) client.

  • The NFS client disconnects from an NFS server, and then tries to reconnect to the server.

In this scenario, this issue occurs, and the CPU usage of the NFS client is higher than expected.
