Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You use Internet Explorer 11 to browse to a webpage that contains YouTube digital rights management (DRM)-protected content in Windows 8.1, Windows RT 8.1, or Windows Server 2012 R2.

  • You start to play the DRM-protected content in HTML5 mode.


In this scenario, the playback does not start, and you receive the following error message:

An error occurred, please try again later.

Resolution

To obtain this update, install the November 2014 update rollup for Windows RT 8.1, Windows 8.1, and Windows Server 2012 R2.
