This security update resolves a vulnerability in Microsoft Windows. An information disclosure vulnerability exists when the Microsoft Internet Messaging API improperly handles objects in memory. An attacker who successfully exploited this vulnerability could test for the presence of files on disk.

After you install this security update, System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) Management Console crashes in State view.

To resolve this issue for systems running Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows 8.1, or Windows Server 2012 R2, install the following update:
