Issue

In a new database (we haven't entered any transactions yet) I am getting the error "Multicurrency setup information is missing or damaged". If I go into Setup, Financial, Multicurrency - it will let me put in the options and say OK, however when I go back in the information is gone. I have checked before and after running Check Links. I think I have a damaged table. Is there something I can do?

Potential Cause

This table may be damaged and it needs to be recreated.

Resolution

You will need to use the SQL Maintenance to recreate this table.

1. Go to File | Maintenance | SQL to recreate the Multicurrency Setup table.
2. Choose the Multicurrency Setup table from the Finanical series for the specific company.
3. Once you have found the Multicurrency Setup table, select all 6 boxes on the far right side of the window.
4. At that point, go ahead and click process.

This will recreate all objects associated with the table. Once the processing is complete, you will then want to go back into Setup | Financial | Multicurrency and enter in the information once again.
