On This PageSYMPTOMSRemote procedure call (RPC) data may be blocked by a computer that is running Microsoft Internet and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2004 or ISA Server 2000. When this problem occurs, some Microsoft Outlook clients may not start or may be unable to connect to the Microsoft Exchange server. When this behavior occurs, the affected clients receive one or more of the following error messages: Task "Microsoft Exchange Server" reported error (0x80040115): "The connection to the Microsoft Exchange Server is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action." Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook Unable to open the Outlook window. The set of folders could not be opened. Unable to open the Outlook window. CAUSEThis problem may occur when the following conditions are true:
