On This PageSYMPTOMSYou use Microsoft Forefront Client Security. If the managed computers have not reported statistics to the collection server for more than 30 days, you experience one or more of the following symptoms. Symptom 1You receive the following error message in the Forefront Client Security management console:Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation Exception type: System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException Symptom 2Incorrect values are reported under the total number of managed computers.Symptom 3The results of the 14-day history report differ slightly from the results that the dashboard fuel gauges display.CAUSEA server-side SQL stored procedure that the Forefront Client Security dashboard uses incorrectly calculates statistics when the managed computers have not reported to the collection server for more than 30 days. RESOLUTIONHotfix informationA supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next software update that contains this hotfix.If the hotfix is available for download, there is a "Hotfix download available" section at the top of this Knowledge Base article.
