Support for Internet Explorer ended on June 15, 2022

Internet Explorer 11 has been permanently disabled through a Microsoft Edge update on certain versions of Windows 10. If any site you visit needs Internet Explorer 11, you can reload it with Internet Explorer mode in Microsoft Edge. We recommend you use Microsoft Edge  for a faster, more secure and more modern web browsing experience.

Get started with Microsoft Edge

If the Internet Explorer icon doesn't appear on your Windows 10 desktop, here are steps you can follow:

  1. Select Start, then type “internet explorer” in the search box.

  2. Right-click Internet Explorer in the search results, then select Open file location.

  3. In the window, right-click the Internet Explorer shortcut and select Copy.

  4. Close the window.

  5. Right-click an empty area of your desktop, then select Paste.
