The focus moves through windows in the wrong order when you run a RemoteApp program on a Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows Server 2008-based client computer
Support for Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1) ends on July 12, 2011. To continue receiving security updates for Windows, make sure you're running Windows Vista with Service Pack 2 (SP2). For more information, refer to this Microsoft web page: Support is ending for some versions of Windows
You add a Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0-based application as a RemoteApp program on a Windows Server 2008-based terminal server. When you run the RemoteApp program on a Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows Server 2008-based client computer, windows are opened in a specific order. When you close the windows, the focus does not move through the windows in the correct order. For example, you have an application that opens a modal dialog box on a client computer. The first dialog box opens a second dialog box, and then the second dialog box opens a third dialog box. When you close the third dialog box, you expect the focus to move to the second dialog box. However, the focus may move to the first dialog box.
