Problem description
In the German version of Windows Vista or Windows 7, when you type "C:\Programme" in the address bar and then press Enter, you will receive an access denied message that resembles the following:
Auf C:\Programme kann nicht zugegriffen werden.
Zugriff verweigertNote "C:\Programme" is the equivalent folder for the "C:\Program Files" folder on German language Windows operating systems.Fix it for me" section. To fix this problem yourself, go to the "Let me fix it myself" section.
However, if you type "C:\Programme\Windows NT" in the address bar and then press Enter, the folder appears as expected. To have us fix this problem for you, go to the "Fix it for me

To fix this problem yourself, follow these steps:

Click , type
cmdin the Start Searchbox, right-click cmd.exein the Programslist, and then click Run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click Continue. -
At the command prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER:
cd /D %systemdrive%\.

Type the following command, and then press ENTER:
rd Programme
-
Type the following command, and then press ENTER:
mklink /J Programme "%programfiles%"
