SYMPTOMS

Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 R2 crashes when you receive an incoming instant message notification.

Additionally, you receive the following error message in the Communicator UCCAPI log:

CAUSE

This problem occurs when the XML for the incoming conversation is deserialized.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, apply the following update:
