How do I change an avatar (profile picture) in GroupMe?

Update your avatar (profile picture)

1. Select your profile picture.
2. Tap the Edit profile button to open your profile.
3. Tap Edit .
4. Tap the pencil next to your avatar (profile picture).
5. You can select Take new photo or Select saved photo to update your avatar (profile picture) with the image of your choice.

Update your group's avatar (profile picture)

1. Go to the group in which you want to update the avatar (profile picture).
2. Select More options  , then select Change Group Avatar.
3. Select Camera to take a new picture, Gallery to add a picture from your camera roll, or Documents to add a picture from your device's documents. You can also select the Media Search tab to search for an image or GIF.
4. When you've selected the photo you want, select Ok  at the bottom of the screen.

Update your avatar (profile picture)

1. Select your profile picture.
2. Tap the Edit profile button to open your profile.
3. Tap your avatar (profile picture).
4. You can select Take photo or Choose photo to update your avatar (profile picture) with the image of your choice.
5. Tap Done.

Update your group's avatar (profile picture)

1. Go to the group in which you want to update the avatar (profile picture).

   Note

   On iPad, if you don't have your list of chats on the side, tap Chat at the top of the screen.

2. Tap the current group avatar (profile picture), then select Settings  .

   Tip

   On iPad, you can simply select Settings   at the top of the screen in a group chat. 

3. Tap Edit Group.

4. Tap Change Avatar. From here, you can Take a new photo or Choose a photo from your device.

5. When you've selected the photo you want, tap Done at the bottom of the screen.

6. Tap Save.

Update your avatar (profile picture)

1. Select the Open Navigation  menu. 
2. Select your name to open your profile.
3. Select the pencil .
4. Select Edit Avatar. From here you can take a new photo or choose a previously saved photo.

Update your group's avatar (profile picture)

1. Go to the group in which you want to update the avatar (profile picture).
2. Select the current group avatar (profile picture).
3. Select Settings  .
4. Select Edit group details.
5. Select Edit Photo. From here, you can choose a photo from your computer, search for a photo or GIF, or take a new photo.
6. When you've selected the photo you want, select the check mark  at the bottom of the screen.

Update your avatar (profile picture)

1. Select your current avatar (profile picture) to display your profile settings.
2. Hover over your avatar (profile picture) and select Change Avatar. 
3. Browse for a new photo and select Open. Your avatar (profile picture) will be updated.

Update your group's avatar (profile picture)

1. Go to the group in which you want to update the avatar (profile picture).
2. Select the current group avatar (profile picture) at the top of the group.
3. Hover over the current avatar and select Change Avatar.
4. Browse for a new photo and select Open. Your group's avatar (profile picture) will be updated.
