Download a file

1. On the left, do one of the following

   • To download from a team, select Teams and Channels on the chat pane or  Teams and choose team with the file you want.

   • To download from a chat, select Chat and open a chat that has a file someone shared.

2. Select Files or Shared on the top toolbar. 

3. Select the file or files to download, and then choose   Download on the top toolbar. Select the ellipsis () on the toolbar if you don't see Download. 

The file is saved to your local Downloads folder, typically C:\Users\[[your name]]\Downloads. You may also have a message box in the upper corner where you can open the file or the folder it's in.
