Q: When I update to the latest Skype for Windows 11 Insiders build, will my history, contacts or credits be impacted? A: If you were using Skype for Windows 10 and 11 (version 15), your contacts, history and credits will not be impacted when you update to the latest Insiders release. The update behaves like any other Store update. All your account information will be preserved. If you were using another version of Skype before you updated to the latest Insiders release, your history from the last year will be displayed in the updated client. History older than a year is not backed up in the cloud.
