Introduction
This article describes an update that improves the performance of peer-to-peer (P2P) video conferencing in a low-power state on the BayTrail driver in Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2. This update also improves the performance of high-definition (HD) Skype conferencing. Before you install this update, Skype may abandon HD mode and settle for a lower-quality P2P video connection. After you install this update, HD Skype conferencing can be enabled correctly.
