Use Quick Read to view notifications

 

With Quick Read, you can read notifications of your texts, emails, calls, and social networking messages in a big, bold font.



If you have a phone running Windows Phone 8.1 Update, iOS 8.1.2, or Android 4.3-5, with Bluetooth®, you can read your notifications quickly and easily while you’re in motion, without the need to scroll.

 Start Quick Read

Quick Read works with most notifications, including those on the Messaging Tile, the Mail Tile, the Facebook Tile, the Facebook Messenger Tile, and the Twitter Tile.

Here’s how to start Quick Read:

Step 1: On your band, press the power button.
Step 2: Swipe left, tap the Messaging Tile
The Messaging Tile
(or any other notification tiles), and select a message. (Or, simply tap a notification when it arrives.)
Step 3: While viewing any notification where a flashing arrow points to the action button, press the action button to start Quick Read.

 Set the Reading Speed

You can change the reading speed for Quick Read. Here’s how:

Step 1: On your band, press the power button.
Step 2: Swipe left, tap the Settings Tile Asset not found > Tools  Tools icon.
Step 3: Swipe left to Reading Speed, then tap and swipe left to choose the reading speed you want.

 Turn Quick Read on or off

You can change the reading speed for Quick Read. Here’s how:

Step 1: On your band, press the power button.
Step 2: Swipe left, tap the Settings Tile Asset not found > Tools  Tools icon.
Step 3: Swipe left to Reading Speed, then tap and swipe left to turn Quick Read On or Off.
