Learn how to recover deleted items, such as email, contacts, calendar appointments, and tasks in Outlook.

You can create a new Outlook Data File and drag the items in the Lost and Found folder into the new data file. After you've moved all the items, you can remove the Recovered Personal Folders (.pst) file, including the Lost and Found folder.

Navigate to the Deleted folder and select the conversation. From the more menu (...), select Restore Conversation. The conversation and all future responses will not be in your inbox.

To fix this issue, use the following steps: From your Outlook inbox, select View > Change View. Select the IMAP Messages folder.

In the Reading Mail section, click Unread mail. Click OK. Note: Use these same steps to add any default Search Folder. In step 2, in the New Search Folder dialog box, click the Search Folder that you want to add. If the Unread Mail Search Folder is missing in Outlook, you can restore it.

To recover items that have been moved to a specified folder when they are deleted: In the folder to which deleted items are moved, click the items that you want to recover.
