Can I mute notifications per group or can I mute all groups at once?

Mute a specific group:

1. Go to the group chat you want to mute.
2. Select the group's avatar (profile picture).
3. Select Settings  .
4. In the Notifications area, choose how long you'd like to Mute the group.

Mute all of your groups:

1. Select Settings  .
2. In the Notifications for all chats area, select the amount of time you'd like to mute all chats.

Mute a specific group:

1. Go to the group chat you want to mute.
2. Tap More options .
3. Tap Mute.
4. Select the amount of time you want to mute the chat, then tap OK.

Mute all of your groups:

1. Select the Profile and Settings menu.
2. Tap Settings  .
3. Select Turn off all notifications and choose how long you’d like your groups to be muted.

Mute a specific group on iPhone:

1. Go to the group chat you want to mute.
2. Tap the group's avatar (profile picture).
3. Tap Mute, then choose how long you'd like to Mute the group.

Mute a specific group on the iPad:

1. Tap the group you want to mute.
    

   Note

   If you don't have the list of your chats, select Chat at the top of the screen. 

2. Swipe left on the group name in the Chat list then select Mute.

3. Tap Mute, then choose how long you'd like to Mute the group.

Mute all of your groups:

1. Select the Profile and Settings menu.
2. Select Settings  .
3. Select Pause notifications and select how long you'd like to pause notifications.

Mute a specific group:

1. Go to the group chat you want to mute.
2. Select the group's avatar (profile picture).
3. Select Settings  .
4. Select Mute and choose how long you'd like to Mute the group.
