You can upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11 if your device meets hardware specifications, and if the Windows 11 release has been made available to your device.

If your PC is experiencing problems, especially issues related to Windows Update, you can use the Fix problems using Windows Update recovery option to reinstall the current version of Windows.

Here's how: Select Start > Settings > Windows Update and, next to Get the latest updates as soon as they're available , set the toggle to On . Note: Whether you set the toggle to Off or On , you'll still get the regular security updates as usual.

Select Start > Control Panel > System and Security > Windows Update. In the Windows Update window, select either important updates are available or optional updates are available.

Select Start > Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates and then install any available updates. If the problems aren't all resolved, try running the troubleshooter again to check for additional errors, or see Troubleshoot problems updating Windows and follow the troubleshooting steps.
