To change existing text to all caps, create a copy using UPPER and paste it back to the original cells.

  1. In a blank cell, row, or table, enter =UPPER(A1) in the Formula bar where A1 is the cell(s) you want to make uppercase.

  2. To copy the results and paste over the original text, press ⌘+C, select the original cell(s), right-click, select Paste Special (^⌘ V), choose Values and then OK.
