In the profile editor, at the top of the Skills page, you see information about who else can see your skills.

Default settings are managed by your organization admin. You can manage your own sharing settings in the profile editor, on the Data and privacy tab. If you have access to AI-added skills, you can also manage the use of AI for skills from this tab.

In the Data and privacy tab, under Update your skills settings, you see up to four options depending on the skills features available to you.

Allow AI to add skills to your profile: If your Microsoft 365 license provides access to an AI-added skills profile and your organization allows the use of AI for this purpose, you will see AI-added skills. In that case, you will also see this setting, which you can turn off if you do not want AI-added skills on your profile.    AI-added skills make it easy to share your skills with others. When AI is turned on, you'll periodically get new skills. This lets you keep your skills current without having to regularly update your skills profile. Learn more about how AI generates your skills

Share your skills on your profile: When this option is off, only you can see all your skills – including skills you confirm. When on, anyone within your organization can see your skills. Keeping this control on lets you take advantage of skills experiences and provides your organization leaders with an accurate picture of your skills.

Share AI-added skills automatically: If you have access to AI-added skills, this setting lets you to control whether others within your org can see these skills before you confirm them.

Share imported skills automatically: If your organization admin imports skills for you from other systems, you can use this control to determine whether others within your org can see these skills before you confirm them.
