Promote a SharePoint news post with Amplify for more visibility
Amplify from SharePoint allows a SharePoint news author to promote their news post via email, Engage articles, Teams channel messages, and additional SharePoint sites as news.
Amplifying your news post allows you to gain visibility for your communication without needing to copy, paste, or reformat your content to different channels. It also gives you advanced analytics directly in SharePoint in the existing news analytics page. You'll see how audiences are engaging, viewing, and reacting to the news post in all channels, directly within SharePoint.
Any SharePoint news author with an Amplify license assigned to them will be able to use this capability.

Amplify again
You can amplify your news post as many times as you need to. It will create a new email/post in your desired distribution channels. If you want to make changes to the content you have previously amplified, make your edits directly on the distribution channel endpoints.
In addition you can see a history of your amplifications:
-
Select the Amplify button on the tool bar.
-
Select View Amplify history.
-
Change the date drop down to see different amplification actions and which distribution channels were used.
Who can use Amplify from SharePoint?
Amplify from SharePoint follows the same rules and configurations that organizations have setup for sending emails, Teams channel posts, Engage posts, and SharePoint news. Amplify doesn't give a user any extra abilities to send to these locations or to audiences beyond what they could already do manually in each of these applications.
To use Amplify a user must be allowed to author or edit news in a SharePoint site and have the Amplify license assigned to them. Amplify from SharePoint is a super powered version of the existing Promote capability on SharePoint news, that allows all authors/editors to promote their news into other locations one by one. Amplify gives the extra capability to allow authors to promote to multiple channels all at once and get back the analytics from those channels.
