This article applies to Microsoft Dynamics AX for the Eastern Europe (EE) region.
Symptoms
When you run the Exchange Adjustment process in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1 (SP1) with the Eastern Europe GLS layer installed, the Exchange Adjustment process includes settled invoices if the settlement date is the same as the considered date and the date of rate. This problem occurs if the payment and the exchange adjustment are at the same date.
Cause
This problem occurs because the exchange adjustment considers the closed transactions.

Validation of the application hotfix installation
To validate the installation of the application hotfix, open the SysHotfixManifest class in the Application Object Tree (AOT). Then, verify that there is a method whose name includes the Knowledge Base (KB) article number of the installed hotfix. Additionally, you can cross-check the affected objects by comparing the KBXXXXXX.txt file against the objects in the AOT. By doing this, you can make sure that the objects are changed correctly in the SYP layer or in the GLP layer.
Note The XXXXXX placeholder represents the KB article number of the installed hotfix.
