In Microsoft Teams (free) on Windows 11, you can create announcement banners for your community announcements with Designer.

Go to the community where you want to use Designer.

Select Announcement, then the Background image
button. -
You'll have the option to Add an image, Generate an image, or Explore ideas from existing images.

After you've selected an image, you can select Customize to change the size, text, and layout.

When you're ready, select Done to add the image to your community announcement. A message is required to post your announcement, but you'll also have the option to add a sub header if you'd like.

Select Post to post your announcement to the community.
