Note: To share a OneNote notebook with your family using the Microsoft Family Safety feature, first you need to set your Microsoft Family Safety.

How to use the Family Notebook in OneNote 

  1. Go to the Microsoft Family Safety website, sign in with your Microsoft account and add members to your Microsoft Family Safety. Once you set up your Microsoft Family Safety you can easily share your Notebook.

  2. Go to OneNote and share your Notebook. Click the Icon for the Share menu itemShare ​​​​​​​button on the top right and select Icon for the Share menu item​​​​​​​ Share Entire Notebook.

  3. When asked to provide and email type: Your Family. Click Send to share the notebook with your family group.​​​​​​

You can use the sample pages provided to get started. Customize these pages to include sections that are relevant to your family, such as:

  • To-Do Lists: Keep track of daily tasks and responsibilities.
