Find and add Copilot agents to group chats in Microsoft Teams

Copilot agents help increase productivity in collaborative situations like group chats in Teams. Use it to ask questions about the chat or summarize information.  

To access the Copilot agents and bots while in a group chat, complete the following instructions:

1. Select Add people, agents and bots  from the top of the chat.

2. Beneath People, select Add agents and bots ​​​​​​​

3. Choose the agent or agents you'd like to add to the chat. You'll see what the agent does and the permissions it needs.

4. Select Add. 

When selecting agents and bots for your group chat, you’ll first see agents that have been added before. Beneath that are new agents that can be installed. To see more agent options, select Get more apps in the lower-right corner.
