Desktop notifications enable you to stay connected by viewing pop-up notifications for announcements, or when a member of your community mentions you.
You can turn this setting on or off at any time from either engage.cloud.microsoft or the new installable Engage desktop app.
Tip: Desktop notifications are available in Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome.
Enable desktop notifications from the Engage app

Select the Settings icon in the upper right of your screen.

Select Manage desktop notifications.

Choose Manage desktop notifications. Send me desktop notifications will be preselected.

Ensure you've enabled notifications on your browser by navigating to the Settings and more … menu in the upper right corner, then clicking App info.

Select Allow in the dropdown menu.

Select Settings in the upper right of your screen.

Select Manage desktop notifications.

Choose Manage desktop notifications. Send me desktop notifications will be preselected.

Ensure you've enabled notifications by selecting the Lock icon in the browser bar. Then, select the option to allow notifications.

If you want to stop receiving notifications later, you can return to this setting, and turn off Manage desktop notifications.
