Symptoms

All the desktop flows of one or more environments are suspended and cannot run anymore.

Cause

The new DLP for desktop flows feature (preview) introduces new desktop flow connectors which will be assigned to the default group of your policy when admins edit it.

If the default group of the policy is set to Blocked, all these desktop flow connectors affected by the policy will be blocked. As a result, any desktop flow subject to the policy will be automatically suspended.

Resolution

In order to allow makers within your organization to utilize desktop flows, admins need to ensure all desktop flow connectors are moved from Blocked to Business or Non-Business groups using the below steps.

In the Power Platform Admin Center:

  1. Select Policies, then Data Policies

  2. Select a policy and then select Edit Policy

  3. Go to Connectors and search for ‘desktop flow’

  4. Select all the desktop flow connectors

  5. Assign these connectors to the dedicated group and save the policy

  6. Repeat the above process for each policy where the default group is Blocked
